New York Anime Festival 2010 – The Cosplay

If you’ve been following my Twitter feed at all, you know that I was at New York Anime Festival (combined with New York Comic Convention) this past weekend. I’m working on a proper writeup of the convention overall, but in the meanwhile, enjoy some photos of the great cosplayers I took over the weekend. The resolutions have been reduced from their original 12MP so that they don’t take up insane amounts of space, but if you’d like the full-res version of any of them, just ask. [12 Days of Christmas] Day 5 – K-ON~!

In this holiday season, it’s important for us to take a look back on the previous year and reflect on what’s passed, what we’re thankful for. Some people are thankful for their family, others for their success. Me? I’m thankful for moe.

Hetalia Axis PowersxK-On crossover

One of my friends was nice enough to link me to this awesome video which featured the characters of Hetalia Axis Power doing the theme song of K-On. Yui=Italy, America=Ritsu, Japan=Mio, and England=Mugi. Even better, most if not all the characters from Hetalia Axis Powers make a cameo somewhere in the video. Greece is especially cute. K-On final thoughts

I honestly really enjoyed and loved this series, and am sad to see it end. Which is odd, because it certainity isn’t the most fantastic/moving show I’ve watched or really spectactular in any way. Now let’s hope no one shoots me for saying that.

Aside from my heart melting for her, I wonder how this club continues to exist if no progress has been made for three months. Isn’t it the faculty adviser’s job to supervise club activities? If they haven’t been practicing, how much cake have they been eating in the meantime? >_>

How many otaku husbands does Mio have already? Must be a record — or at least in the subbing community. All the comments to torrents I see are “hands off MY Mio.”

I can’t blame any of them, I guess… She’s the best of the series, in my opinion. :P Followed by Mugi-chan.
