Rakuen (real name Aaron) is a Computer Science major at University of Illinois – Springfield. He’s wanted to be a programmer his whole life, and now he’s living that dream. 

When it comes to anime, he prefers action and comedy series, but he’ll watch just about anything, except shounen ai.  His current top three picks are Gurren Lagann, Princess Tutu, and FLCL, and he’s also a big fan of King of Bandit Jing. 

Rakuen hits up the convention scene pretty hard with his Whose Line and panel group; you can find him pretty much everywhere in the Ohio-area, as well as Anime St. Louis, Acen, and hopefully Otakon this year.  Next year the horizons might be pushed even further out, pocketbook permitting.

When he’s not slaving away at school or watching anime, he can usually be found playing some video games, RPGs being his favorite genre.  He also perpetually hangs out on AIM talking to his friends.  You can learn entirely too much about Rakuen at his blog.
