As a 25 year old man, I’m probably one of the oldest of the writers here. I’m writing out of the Boston area in Massachusetts, where I grew up ever since I was 6. Currently, I’m working full time as a quantitative analyst in Boston.

I’ve gone by lvlln in some other places, most notably at Beast’s Lair, a Type-Moon centric message board, where I was part of the team that translated Kagetsu Tohya. That translation used a Korean translation as a base; I was born in Korea and am still fluent in it. Some of my posts might be based off Korean subs.

I wouldn’t say that I have a particular genre of anime I prefer, but I would say that I’m a Shaft fanboy. In recent years, I’ve enjoyed most Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei, Ef – A Tale of Memories, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and the Kara no Kyoukai movies. My all-time favorites include FLCL, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gunbuster, and Elfen Lied.

I’ve been big on keeping track of voice actors recently, and my favorites are Miyuki Sawashiro, who seems to be in everything, and Maaya Sakamoto, who, besides having an amazing singing career, keeps appearing as the protagonist in many of my favorites.

I don’t read manga too much, but I am a big fan of the original manga of both Gunslinger Girl and Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei.

My other hobbies include running (10k pr 42:44), programming (Python), ultimate frisbee, juggling, and video games.

I do have a little anime blog of my own, 4ch/a/nner, one that I haven’t really kept updated. You can follow me on Twitter: @lvlln.
