For Every End, A New Beginning

If I recall, I started writing for this blog about four years ago.  In that time, there’s been a lot of ups and downs.  I wrote, got burned our, wrote again, and then blew up in the hanger.  Nevertheless, I’ve made a lot of memories and several good friends through this blog.  But with lvlln and Raph officially moving on, I think it’s high time I do the same.  It’s time to let go.

I’m starting from scratch and writing for myself.  I know at the very least, Space Brothers has ignited a spark that’s made me think about writing again.  Hanging out over at Metanorn has given me motivation as well.  I will hopefully continue writing under my new WordPress blog, Derivative Paradise.  Or I could be completely talking out my ass again.  Who knows?

To all of you, past, present, and future, who have read this blog, thank you for your time and participation.  Special thanks to those of you who still have this blog on your reader after all these years.  I wish you all the best.  I have no intention to allow any more posts here.  However, this blog will continue to exist as a testament to both successes and failures.  I think anything less would be a disservice to myself, my compatriots, and the readers who still continue to stumble into this space.

Until we meet again,
~Rakuen

wait….does this mean that this blog is dead now?

Yes. I’ve left it on life support for far, far too long. It’s something I regret allowing, because I know at least a few people held out hope for some new content. This is my way of pulling the plug. It had a good run. Time for it to rest.

Don’t worry, I never unsubscribe from any blog in a stupid hope that maybe, just maybe, one of those blogs will reactivate after a long year’s hiatus.

If anybody ever comes back to Borderline Hikikomori, I’ll always be here to SHOUT AT YOU GUYS IN BAD COMMENTS THAT NOBODY WANTS ON THEIR BLOGS

I was a big fan of this blog for a couple years, before I started writing here. Some great memories and articles I loved to write and read, and I’m glad you won’t be taking them down. Still, time passes, and we just keep moving forward. I’ll always be grateful for the chance you and CJ took on me.

I’m glad you gave us a shot, and even moreso that you’ve found a new place to call home. You seem to be doing quite well over there. Again, best of luck, lvlln. :)

Had a lot of fun when I was most active in 2008. I won’t forget this place either. Thanks for the memories, CJ and friends. :)

Hey, good to see you’re at least somewhat around. Thanks for the work you did here in the earlier days. I hope things are continuing to go well for you. :)

Thank you for the kind words, Rakuen, and I’m glad this site would be still around in archive mode because I’ve heard of it quite a lot when I joined the anisphere few years ago. Best of luck with your solo endeavour and hope inspiration is never lacking. ^^

Every now and then, I get emails of comments to old posts. It’s nice to know somebody is still reading here and there. (There are also lots of spam posts to filter out, lol, but it’s no big deal.) I’m glad we have established ourselves on a decent page in Google search results, too, apparently. :P
