I did love everything about the episode up until the ending which i knew was going to happen, yet somehow i was still thrown off by the timing. That’s something i love about this show the timing is unpredicatable. Although i hate how the characters remain ignorant to a certain degree.

I was disappointed at the ending as well, but mainly because I expected the conclusion to the ESB to be in the next episode. I kinda figured it was 50/50 that class F would lose. Having them conquer class A and become the new top would be too straightforward for a show such as this. There is something uniquely satisfying about seeing the ones you root for finally lose, having met their match, an opponent so powerful that all their wits and guile wasn’t enough. Simply getting that close to victory was an accomplishment un itself.

I’m also a huge Red Sox fan.

Heh, yeah, it’s a comedy, but it doesn’t mean it can’t have some kind of consistency to it. I was actually reasoning that this battle system is a state of the art system. I believe that the characters in the series are sophomores. So what they could do is spread the technology to other schools for the next school year. Then Class F suddenly has to defend themselves against a bunch of schools that want to gun for the “idiot-geniuses”. That right there could give the series a lot of mileage without being ridiculous.

Well, I’d watch it.

Yeah, I just don’t really see exactly where they’re going to go with the next episode from here. I assume it’s going to have something to do with the principal though, at least, that’s what I’d really like to see. She’s had some kind of plan for Class F, I want to know what it is.

I expected that Class F will lose because if they win and take over the facilities of Class A, they won’t be the Idiots of the School anymore. Sadly it was predictable. My favourite ending would have been if Class F had won the battle and as a prize Yuuji had asked the Principal to drop the class system and let each student have equal facilities. Oh well, this is a comedy after all…

Rest assured the way this anime has performed this season it’s definitly going to get a second season. I also kind of deduced the probability of that ending occurring by factoring in the possible scenarios and that was my top scenario given the nature and tone of the series. Until then we still have another episode don’t we? Were just gonna have to wait and see what the future lies in store for us.
