Now this is the Umineko I’ve been missing! On a side note, I’d like to apologize for how long it’s taking me to get posts up. I’ve been suffering from a bad fatigue since Thanksgiving break.
The whole with Ange going places was pretty boring, but as soon as we got past that to the tests, the episode got a lot better. George reveals a not at all unexpected dark side, and Jessica proves that she understands that she can no longer make choices just for herself anymore.
My theory for the 3rd arch may be closer then I thought...
Both of these two led to the starts of some pretty awesome fights as George picks a battle with Gaap, and Jessica takes on Ronove.

I’m not really sure what’s going to happen with Battler and Maria. I’m not even sure Battler wants to save his step-mommy, so I’m guessing Ange is going to be on that line. Still, I think it’s clear that Battler is a lot weaker in resolve then Jessica and George. I can’t see him trying to take on a witch or demon. Unless it’s Beato.
I’m not sure Maria even has anyone left she loves. Her response may be “Kill them all, kihehehe!”

Technically Battler’s ROMANTIC interest would be on that line. For example – Jessica loves her father, but not romantically. That’s why Kanon is there and not Krauss. Unless Battler has romantic feelings for Ange (which I highly doubt myself) then his line should have someone else. Although who should be the question, since he doesn’t seem to have any romantic interest in anyone to an obvious extent.
Not necessarily. It’s just the person they’d least want to kill, effectively making only 1 and 2 likely options. Ange would be Battler’s best fit, more than Kyrie, assuming he and Maria get the same test as the other two. I wonder if Maria will get Rosa or Sakutaro for hers, though…
I’m pretty sure the second option is specifically the person that they love the most. In that case I doubt Ange would be in his list since Battler holds no romantic love for Ange (at least I believe so), I also think her not being in the island also serves as a reason why she can’t be his second choice, because if (though very unlikely) Battler does choose that the second choice with Ange’s name written on it how is he going to kill her if she’s not even on the island?
I could say the same with Maria. Sakutarou is dead (at least to her) so he can’t be a choice and Rosa is dead aswell (unless stated otherwise) therefore both names can’t be on her second list.
Haven’t watched this so~ but well at least Goerge shows that he’s a man xD he looked sooo coward on the 2nd one when nonaffectedbygravity-Shannon defend him from beato whith her super powerful pink shield xD and Maria will end up killong battler xD that would be hilarious to be honest.
