I was worried that I was burned out on anime watching when I had downloaded plenty of fall season anime and watched none of this. Then this popped up, I download and watched this asap.
This does not mean what one might hope...
I have to say this show provides an utterly shojoriffic and adorable first episode.
I do feel really sorry for Sawako though. She’s such a shy and sweet girl, and all she wants to do is help, yet everyone else is so scared of her. I like Sawako so far, at the very least, she’s open and honest about how she feels. She doesn’t deserve in the least how other people treat her. At least her love interest stuck up with her when they tried to make going on a date with her a punishment game.

I hope the rest of the series stays this good, I’m a little nervous as things don’t really set up for much of an actual conflict, and the boy is just a tad too perfect. But if it’s just a story of girl like boy and boy like girl, and the two of them sharing the feelings of bumbling through being in love, I’m all for that.
As long as he's no Edward, I can deal. If he sparkles though, I'm dropping this FAST.
The animation is pretty good. A little heavy on the amount of chibi characters for my taste though. I was especially impressed by the artsy animation in the opening, and then the pretty closing. Not so much a fan of the songs though.

This is one of the few shows that deserves a good watch for the fall season. Just watched it today and I think it is fun and entertaining. About conflicts, I am sure there will be plenty on latter episodes.
