Oh wow, so many thoughts. Were to begin?

Aww...
Let’s start with Canaan. I’m not exactly sure why she can’t see colors anymore, it just seems she woke up and just happened to lose them for the sake of causing drama in the plot. We’ve watched the confident and capable Canaan turn into a pile of emo soup.
Talking about Canaan, am I the only one who thinks there’s a ridiculous amount of sexual tension between Canaan and Maria? At the start of the series, it just seemed like a close friendship, but in this episode, it really felt like they crossed that line.

Oh just kiss already!
Hakko. As she can’t talk, it’s hard to tell what’s going on her head. She obviously has some serious rage and resentment issues. I do feel sorry for her though, she’s lost her voice and still has it at the same time. It’s just whenever she uses it, she hurts people. It’s revealed that she did have an amazing singing voice, so that’s pretty harsh

Poor thing...
Oh yeah, America being the bad guys did piss me off. Although I hate to say it, I have to admit, we haven’t really given off the best image, and I can see where they’re coming from. Blargh.
It still makes me kinda sad.
The hell? Wasn’t it obvious that Canaan lost her powers because she overloaded them in episode 7? You know, the whole scene where the color in her eyes fades and she falls to the ground….
Who knows if she’ll get them back after a recharge? Or after the powers Maria gains awaken as in the theory I developed in my post? Time will tell.
Also, America are great bad guys because we are seen as the country that speaks for the world.
No, it was not obvious, as it was never stated. Also, the power that Canaan has is a real life ability, although exaggerated just a tad, that I have. So the idea of an overload seems silly to me because it would not happen.
(It’s an awesome real life ability btw)
Also, I do respect your opinion but please do not swear at me. I do not like it.
Canaan’s synesthesia is obviously not anything like the real life version of it, seeing as how I’m sure you never spin around a pole putting bullets in enemies you sense among a crowd of thousands through buildings in a split-second. This is the anime version where it lets you hack missiles in flight and when the power is always represented y Canaan’s eyes growing red, the absolute loss of that red is a rather obvious representation of the loss of power.
Also, I was a little confused when you said not to cuss at you, since I’m used to writing comments rife with swear words, and when I looked back, the only thing close to a swear word was ‘hell’, which I don’t even think is widely regarded as one. I supposed I apologize, though I don’t believe in censoring myself and were I to feel the need to swear at you again, i will.
I understand her synesthesia is not like real synesthesia, but I’m just trying to explain why it didn’t strike me as overload not being probable. It’s like if you see too much, you suddenly go blind? Doesn’t work like that. Anywho, it wasn’t stated anywhere, just something one would have to observe, and I will admit, I’m not the most observent person, and was sick when I watched 7.
That aside, hell is indeed a profanity. I mean, if I said the hell? in front of my parents or a teacher, I’d be scolded. I’m sincerely request to restrain from using profainity when commenting on my posts, even if you want to say f*** instead of the actual word, I’m cool with that.
I think I’ll just stick to not commenting on your posts from now on :p
You do that.
It’s just an extension of Nasu’s plot device from Tsukihime. The more you use your mystic eyes, the more it hurts you. In Shiki’s case, he could’ve gone blind if he continued to use it.
Also, I liked how they stayed at the still shot of that first screenshot just a second longer than was required.
Yes, the overall yuriness made me very happy.
