Sora no Manimani 2+3

This is just mildly disturbing...

This is just mildly disturbing...

Episode 3 actually did make me want to go visit my local planetarium, although I haven’t been there in years. That’s a sign of a pretty powerful anime, when it makes you takes action in the real world.

 I’m also very impressed by the amount of character development we’ve seen in the first 3 episodes. I know it’s a short series, but still, we rarely see development like this in the characters this early on, and when we do, not usually this deep. I still find myself relating to Mihoshi, as I’m also someone who is unware of when personal space is being invaded, and tends to get all gung-ho about something I love. I also love it when Saku goes off on his reflections about books, as I have a love for reading as well. I feel like he voices perfectly what makes reading great.

I actually don’t think the leader of the student council is a bad person. Is she a bitch? Yes. But she also motivates the group to do things they wouldn’t do without her snide comment, and part of me wonders if she’s doing this on purpose to make sure the group succeeds. Probably not, but it’s an interesting thought.

I also noticed in this show that the soundtrack in this show is absolutely amazing. To anyone watching, take some next episode to pay attention to the background music.

I didn't make this, but makes such a great meme, I had to share it.

    The great part about ORB! is that in the manga, it has three exclamation marks: ORB!!! – *and* he goes “FUOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” in the background.

    Just happened to find this post and had to comment! So anyways, onto the comment. ^^;;

    I agree with just about everything on this post though. I also wanted to go to a planetarium or just look at the stars, but I don’t have a planetarium nearby. So I just look outside the window of my car while driving, lol. But anyways, yes. Sora no Manimani I think is one of those rare shows that even though it’s light-hearted at some parts, it can also impact us in real life. It’s already made me so interested in astronomy. x)

    Hmm…I’ve never thought about it that way. I respect your open-mindedness. ^_^ But that’s a new way of looking at it. Maybe there still is hope for the student council president! In the meantime though, I’m going back to disliking her. xD

    I’ve noticed the background music as well and I absolutely adore it. I just might actually finally get an OST for once. :D

    Lol @ the orb picture. XDD
