One of my friends was nice enough to link me to this awesome video which featured the characters of Hetalia Axis Power doing the theme song of K-On. Yui=Italy, America=Ritsu, Japan=Mio, and England=Mugi. Even better, most if not all the characters from Hetalia Axis Powers make a cameo somewhere in the video. Greece is especially cute. Even if you’re a Hetalia fan not interested in K-On, I’d recommend checking it out. Link is here.
We all figured lolikitsune’s in-joke adventure, also known as his visual novel, would stir passions, spark controversial discussions, and just plain piss people off. But this… material is beyond the Drama Llama’s wildest dreams. Naturally, few people are going to get seriously pissed over this, but…
… Yeah, Scott’s gonna be one of them. Hip hip~! But in all fairness, the game pokes fun at everyone, while providing ill-timed oppurtunities for lovin’ (it wouldn’t be a visual novel if there weren’t!) From to CCY to Hinano to Owen to Baka-Raptor, everyone who’s a someone in the blogosphere is referenced, including me~!
… Except I’m blonde. What’s wrong with the freakin’ adorable brunette twintails I wear in real life (and that were tastefully utilized in Hinano’s epic game?!) Le sigh.
The show seems to have come together very well in the 3rd and 4th episodes, proving to be a lot stronger then when it first started out.
Looks like we get some girlxgirl action.
Let’s see what I get so far when I compile what I know after 4 episodes. Spoilers are ahead for the 4 Umineko episodes. However I have not played the games or read any of the original material; everything will be purely speculation from an anime-only-viewer’s perspective. This story is getting quite exciting, and I’m interested in being surprised further as more episodes air.
Again, those who know the entire story are welcome to read more (but censor your comments so I can continue to enjoy the story, ne? -_^). Those who’ve watched through ep4 can also read on, as it’s all that I know as well, and I’m just brainstorming out loud. Haven’t watched ep4? Well go do that first before clicking onward.

I finished Yu Yu Hakusho about an hour ago. 175 chapters read over the course of 4 days.
And it was flippin’ epic.
I have to say, this show really cheered me up. I’ve had an absolutely terrible week. Fun fact of the week: Don’t set your friends on fire. It’s a felony. This isn’t talking about me, but someone I know.
Hitting friends with baseballs isn't very nice either.
Just a fyi for everyone, I will be at church camp this week, so no updates from me. I’m also dealing with Serious Shit right now…serious enough to capitalize it, so things may be slow for a few weeks, and I may not have a memory quilt update. But I’ll get back on my feet soon enough!
Gainax…. you’re a loveable bunch of whores. For a project as self-promoting as this one (the sexy gun-toting Yoko singing a pop song?!? The fanboys drool at the mere thought!) you went and pulled out all the stops to make an epic, slickly animated PV that even cynical feminazi me can’t stop rewatching. Good job. Gurren-Lagann really is taking over the position as Gainax’s whoremobile cash cow. Sayonara, Evangelion?
