FUUKO! CELEBRATE WITH FUUKO! *dances*

…. ha. I MISSED IT, BIG TIME. ‘Cause, you know, it happened to be right around the time I started yucky public school.

Yes, it has been somewhere around 396 days since Borderline Hikikomori had its first post (the domain was claimed in March 2007, but it sat unused for a while.) Since then, the team has grown to 7 members, 4 of whom are considered ‘active,’ with 539 total posts and around 250,000 views.

That’s a LOT for me, considering my last Internet project (a crappy website) had about 8 pages and less than 120 hits over two years.

And it’s not all about stats. This has been a TON of fun for me, and my writing has improved by leaps and bounds as well. I’ve met people both crazy and normal, smart and ditzy, nice and (unfortunately) mean, and I’ve learned a lot. I’m sure my fellow writers can agree with that.

I’ve grown a lot as a fan, too. Between reading/watching other’s recommendations and doing research to support my (sometimes) bizarre claims, I’m now a smarter fan. Heck, I used to bash Eureka Seven, Gurren-Lagann and Bleach even though I’d never watched them; how lame is that?!

Since last year, I’ve been to 3 cons (including my first ever,) run a panel and banished my fear of public speaking forever, and, uh, pissed off more people than I care to count. (Usually their own fault, but gomen nasai to anyone I really offended ;~~~; )

And looking back on some of my old posts, I realize I must’ve seemed REALLY pretentious and crap. Sorry about that; maybe I’ll redo some of those old reviews soon?

Now that I’m done rambling, an obligatory shoutout to Crisu, Alex, Rakuen, Janette, Icystorm, and of course, Jenni. Thanks for making this place so awesome and kicking my butt into high gear all the time occasionally. ^_^ We need to all get on some IRC channel at some point and party together.

Also a big thank you to Hinano, lolikitsune, Owen S., Marmot-neechan and countless others who have influenced me, encouraged me or taught me things.

This sounds soooooo ridiculously cliched, but I wouldn’t be here without all of you guys; I seriously would’ve completely dropped out of the blogosphere a long time ago @____@;;;; Thanks for making this a fun ride (for all of us!!) and I hope it continues to be sutekii and fan-tastic *shot for being incredibly lame*

… Yeah, I’ll shut up and let y’all get back to blogging and homework and whatnot now.
