Anime Punch 2008 Whose Line

So after working myself to death for two days cutting and converting the video feed, I’ve finally finished. It’s… a whole month after the convention. Better late than never I suppose. The Acen videos shouldn’t take nearly as long to do since I’ll be living in the house with the cameras in a few weeks. Anyway, you can click the playlist link to go directly to the list, or you can click after the break for individual links, snapshots, and game overviews.

Film Styles – The cast of Evangelion are tasked with changing a lightbulb, but they have to act in the styles dictated by Josh and Jessica.

Interrogation – Joe colored outside the lines at an elementary school while wearing Snake’s box, but he doesn’t know it yet. He’s got to figure it out from vague questions asked by the other cast members.

Press Conference – Joe is Dante announcing that he’s going to fat camp to lose weight he gained while promoting his new Devil’s Food products, and again, he doesn’t know this yet. Poor guy never had a chance here…

Superheroes – Kyo’s first guest appearance casts him as Dr. Evolution trying to save all the magical girls on the planet. I really don’t think that’s an emergency, but whatever.

Party Quirks – Ben falls in love every 15 seconds, Joe is playing Double Dash, and Nathan is performing Evangelion. The host has to figure out everyone’s trait, or face certain death. Okay, not really. Special thanks to Adrienne for being Joe’s backseat driver.

Number of Words – Kyo guests again as Vash the Stampede being chased by the cast of Cowboy Bebop. Each person must say their lines with a specific number of words. Joe – 1, Kyo – 3, Nathan – 5, Ben – 15.

Sound Effects – Voice actor Tristan MacAvery, Gendo Ikari in Evangelion, guest-starred in this game. Ben is Captain Planet, trying to prevent two lumberjacks from cutting down the forest.

Questions Only – Kyo appearance number 3. Since the scene is almost immediately discarded anyway, we’re just a bunch of people at the mall.

Living Scenery – Ben and Joe are trying to rebuild Tokyo Tower, but the props department didn’t give them anything to work with. So, they use the next best thing, actual people.

Whose Line – The namesake game played at every show. They have to go through the scene while randomly reading cards that the audience wrote on during the show. Unless they can’t be said during a censored show, which we had a lot of this time…

Glad you like it. I’ll have more videos pretty soon after Memorial Day.
