Horrah Chicago!  Acen’s schedule of live programming has recently been posted. Here’s the direct link to the PDF . Of course, all things are subject to change about a million times like every other convention out there, but it’ll give you some idea of what’s going on.

I’ll take this time to plug the show I work on, Whose Line is it Anime. This is our fourth year running at conventions and our third at Acen. It’ll be running on Saturday from 9:30~11:30 PM in Exhibit Hall 1. We’ve been told our room capacity is 700, and last year we had a line that was easily in excess of 1000, so line up a bit early. You can find videos of some of our past shows on Youtube, and I’ve recently jacked the AP videos from Ben’s Mac, so those should be uploaded within the week. I’ll make a post when I’m done. It promises to be a fun time and it’s NOT running against Your Favorite Anime Sucks this year, so if you’re reading this, come to the show.

Speaking of Your Favorite Anime Sucks, I’ve got to plug that as well. It’s run by a friend of our show, Mike Beuerlein. If you’re not familiar with the show, first pull your head out of the ground. It’s comedic formula is as follows: you suggest an anime, they burn it to the ground, hilarity ensues. Everyone should go to this show as well, it’s from 3:30 to 5:30 Saturday in Main Events B.

I’ll obviously be at these two shows. Outside of that, I hope to catch the Masquerade and one of the Halcali performances. I might also poke my head into the Pokemon Tournament to get my head handed to me by Faye again (not the character, the person). Then of course, there’s the dance, and since I actually have no responsibilities I’ll probably step into that after the show as well. Otherwise, you can probably find me running around with my crew all three days. Though I suppose that would require knowing what I look like. Well, I’m sure you can all figure it out somehow.
