ANN has provided links to a promo video and a commercial for Library War, a series set to begin airing April 10th. While I previously wasn’t looking forward to this series, now I am. The promo video is pretty epic (even though I couldn’t understand some of what they were saying.) Looks not only intriguing, but funny and dramatic as well. The commercial’s not nearly as interesting, but then again, it’s less than one-tenth of the promo’s length.
The characters are what intrigued me the most. I can tell they’re all unique. Whether or not they’re one-dimensional or cliched, though, remains yet to be seen.
Don’t write it off just because it’s not moe or mecha. Go check out the videos for yourself. Yay or nay? I’m catching the first episode, that’s for sure. If it sucks, we can all make funof it, but I’m desperate for something exciting to make up for Winter’s lackluster season (for me, anyway.)

The fact that I can hear Konishi Katsuyuki in one of the Library War trailers makes me want to see this even more. :P

I was sold on the name. C’mon, Library Wars? That’s just so ridiculous that it’s gotta be worth a preview.
