Yay, another one of these posts. :D

First of all, I just found out that I will be doing a D.Gray-man panel at Matsuricon in August! I’m nervous, because this will be my first panel ever, but I’m a fangirl so I can pull it off. Or something…? ^_^;; I may be doing a Crimson Hero panel as well, but that has yet to be approved. If anyone has any tips or recommendations, feel free to leave a comment. (In other words, PLEASE HELP, or I will die on Saturday, August 23rd 2008.)

Secondly… I just found out that Tokyopop’s doing a spiffy AMV-style contest for two of its OEL manga series. (I wish I would’ve heard earlier, because it ends March 23rd.) Basically, you’re supposed to create a music video using your own clips, clips from the manga in question, and the music that they provide for you. There seems to be two drawbacks to this contest, though: you have to use the song they provide, and the only two series involved in the contest are Bizenghast and Riding Shotgun. I haven’t read either of those, and the fact that you can only pick from two series is pretty shoddy to me. If, say, Dramacon was involved in this, I’d be much more interested. Next time, Tokyopop should involve more series. It’s good to see that someone’s harnessing the AMV revolution, though.

Thirdly, the Allison to Lillia promo linked to from ANN, whic is a .asx file, won’t load on my computer. I have a perfectly AIDS-free Windows with Firefox, so I’m not sure what the problem is. So if anyone else has issues, it’s not just your comp. Or, if you don’t have issues, let me know if the promo’s any good. >:\

Bandai Visual says that the DVD releases of sola, Shigofumi, and true tears have been delayed. Yeah. It seems Bandai’s having problems or second thoughts about robbing the fans; should we celebrate? >___>;

Finally, ANN says that the new Slayers TV series will be called Slayers Revolution, and it looks like Lina won’t be the main character. >_>; Yeah.
