Still hoping for some proper romance between Saito and Louise. You know.. some deredere. It’d be a shame if all Saito did, despite how far he’s progressed with Louise, was ogle over Tifania, causing Louise to be fuming mad. Why must you be the biggest jerk since Makoto of School Days, Saito? Stick to the girl you married!

Update: The website has changed a bit since I first posted this. At least as of May 2008 (thought it was probably known sooner) there is more to the website including slightly interactive character profiles. The title of the series is confirmed as Princesses no Rondo and a release date is expected to occur this summer [source ANN].

As Anime Banzai and Alafista have found before me, the official website for Zero no Tsukaima has been updated with some brief information about season 3.
There’s nowhere new to navigate just yet other than information about the light novels and season 2 DVDs (and another MediaFactory event), but at least we are sure a season 3 is to happen. So just a little bit more waiting until some character info pops up on this page .. and who knows, maybe a fall 2008 airdate?
I just hope the series isn’t so perverted as season 2 was. Although I’ve read in places that the light novel is the naughtiest of all, the anime at least can be a little more tasteful. Season one was fine, especially if Saito really is the type to enjoy kyonyuus. Siesta and Henrietta posed the competitors to Louise’s tsundere-sized bust, but the humor and tension were based on Saito’s attraction alone. In season 2, they had to throw in bounces and faceplants … and drawing them bigger and more detailed overall. It just took away from the real impact of the series, which is Colbert’s story and even the general ending of that season.
Which had to be ruined by that faery — the most ample one of all the characters thus far it seems. While the faery’s character design doesn’t provide much hope, I do wish for more story or humor of a sort other than breasts, breasts, breasts. Maybe I’m just biased for DFCs…
Looking forward to more Kugimiya Rie anyway. And maybe some more Urusai’s from our pink-haired Void goddess? And Tabitha; don’t forget her. Or Montmorency.

Yea i was wondering if you could tell me what the updates say in English, i don’t know Jap language but still a fan of ZnT.
I’m not entirely fluent, but based on what I could pick out and also what Alafista reports, it just basically announces a season 3 in production with more updates to come in the future. The news links are to other related products like the next volume of the novel.

Happy to hear that there is a season 3 out soon ^^. I loved ZnT. Now that’s one series that does not go down in quality as it progresses (as most films gets worse from [x] I to [x] II – you get the picture xD).
I hope that there will be more fight seen in season 3 than season 2.
By the way how did they defeat the army of 7 million? Saito only knock of few of them what ever happen to the rest?
Zero no Tsukaima season 3 i have went to wikipedia and red alittel bit about season 3 idk if this information is acurate. (so dont kill me) they gave the titled as Zero no Tsukaima: Princesses no Rondo and it is going to be air on television in July 2008. this is all i know.. so dont make me get you’r hopes up. oh and yea idk but if Guiche was abel to survibe in the war there is no dought that the new character (elf or what ever it is ) saved him it would seem saito got saved the same way.

Saito actually didnt defeat army of 70,000. i read the nobel up to 13 so i know whats going on, but i dont know how they are going to describe that in anime. Because in the last episode of anime on season 2 they skipped some crucial steps.
by the way do you guys know when the volume 14 is coming out?? because i cant find that latest news thing.
oh and little tippy on the whole army ordeal… is if you check out what geesh said at episode 11. you might be able to peace stuff out of what ACTUALLY happened to Saito.

I agree there should be LESS perversion. They’re married after all. What I really want to see is a story. If they’re gonna have perversion have Lousie chest grow say when she reach 18. I mean not everyone in her family is flat chested. An idea for the story: Maybe finally have Saito bring Louise to his world for a visit. Oh, well, maybe someone would take this idea and make it into a fanfic instead. Oh, well. I like the first season, the second is ok. But I’m a little worried if I want to see the 3rd season with more new characters introduced and more breasts. I mean the idea gets kinda old after awhile and if they’re married I would prefer to see more married fuff. Not more Saito kissing and making out with other girls. I mean come on. The idea is so old. I’ve seen so many anime. Always. One guy and 10 girls all falling for the same guy. And he kissed, face planted in their chest or some other ways.

Lady Light… You really should quit watching the series. I love it the way it is and as I watched the third season I became excited as it was the same things I always loved about the series. Now they’ve got a lot to explain though, there better come a fourth season or we’re going to have some serious issues, me and the script writer.
Saito didn’t defeat 70k army in either the light novel or the anime. In light novel he merely knock out as much generals and commanders as he possibly could, and thus confuse the whole army from advancing (makes sense because his job was to “stop” teh army, not defeat them, but makes him look uncool because he wasn’t doing much killing, if at all :p). In anime he merely contributed a huge fuzz in the center of the army or whatever, he probably killed people in the anime too in contrast to the novel. If you read the light novel you notice there are a lot of info that were not mentioned in the anime, and there were many differences between the novel and the anime (such as the chronological order, mainly because each season is only 12 eps and they had to add ero stuff to make people I watch, I guess, or difference on motives at events, etc.).
I am pretty sure if season 4 comes out, and providing that they would stop adding even more erotic stuff into the anime, it will be really good. I am about to begin reading volume 14 of the light novel, and so far after what the anime covered, there were a lot more interesting events going on in the story. The author finally revealed all the void users, and 3 void familiar. It seems the last familiar will be some serious game changer. There were also a lot more love scenes between Saito and Louise, and they began to be more honest to each other a little more (though still really ecchi, those two love-idiots), and starting to understand each other a lot better. The author himself already said volume 13 was about love, and indeed there were a lot of love interactions between Saito and Louise (in addition to Saito finally stopped being a little bishy playboy for once!). I wonder how the story will go as it progress. Really looking forward to season 4 too. I am guessing the author is not too far form finishing, so my best guess is that the series will end by season 4, or very unlightly by season 5 (anime covers a lot of volumes at once actually, the first 3 seasons already covered first 12 volumes).
Btw, I suggest you read the light novel if you really liked the anime; I for one have never really read any novels in my life for fun, but Zero no Tsukaima actually got me to want to read the novel and be ahead at what is going on to the story, and especially the love story between Saito and Louise. I thought the author was brilliant at trying to find out the answer about “what is love” using Saito and Louise.
P.S. Saito and Louise didn’t actually get married afterall, I suppose; both in the anime or in the novel. They only began the ceremony but didn’t finsh (remember Louise didn’t finish her oath), and Saito at the season 2 last ep said something related “…I should have finished the marriage ceremony” in the battle, indicating those two were not actually officially married (also the flower thing didn’t exist at all in the novel.. =/ makes me sad), maybe that gives them justification why the ero stuff were still going.
