SaiGAR 2008 – Group B, Round 2b

Note: This round had a revote on February 16. View it here.

Alucard (Hellsing Ultimate) – 229
November 11 (Darker than BLACK) – 256
Kino (Kino’s Journey: The Beautiful World) – 343 (41.4% of 828 votes)

Where did Alucard’s votes from Round 1 go? Rather, if you look at the voting graph, he was never in first place at all. In fact, what’s more interesting is how Kino vaulted from third place to first place in the last few hours of the voting period. Maybe all the GAR fans were distracted by Super Bowl pregame parties, but Kino fans were able to rally today. Congrats. Tomorrow, I’m hoping for good ‘ol Keiichi.

Tomorrow at http://saigar08.michaeldodd.net/:

Maebara Keiichi (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai)
Huang (Darker than BLACK)
Masa (Seto no Hanayome)

Best laugh I had yesterday. Not because she won, but because of the reactions that were sure to happen. I was not expecting a win for Kino. There seems to be talk of a revote/recount. It would be interesting to see her win twice, with or without computer assistance.

Looks like you predicted it. We had the revote and Kino still won.
