12 Days of Christmas: Day 8 – Hair Ribbons

Headbands and cowlicks are cute too, but ribbons just take the cake in Lucky Star~

 Notice Kagami’s adorable purple ribbons…

Kagami-sama~!

And Yukata’s ribbons that change color every episode (I could’ve sworn they were white in episode 17…)

Yukata and Konata

Now compare them to Tsukasa’s headband-ish-thingie:

Tsukasa

(There’s one episode where she gets pigtails like Kagami’s. Couldn’t remember which ep, though…)
Tsukasa’s headband looks really cute on her, especially in how it contrasts with her hair, but ribbon-clad pigtails are more childish and cute. (‘Specially if the ribbons are a similar color to your hair~) So are ribbon’d pigtails going to end up as a moe ‘tradition,’ as opposed to a cliche? They should be, in my opinion… but my opinion overanalyzes everything. ^_^

I think more anime characters need hair ribbons n’ pigtails~ Of course, Shirashi doesn’t need them.

Shirashi~!

Heck, they might look good on me… ^_^;;

    Yeah. Ribbons really adds a nice cuteness aura to the characters in a show that already has a ton of moe elements.

    Shirashi in pigtails and ribbons burns hole in brain…

    I think Konata has the best hair, for two reasons,
    1. she has the longest.
    2. she grows it long like that for her mother.
