Following Kurogane’s example on this, but only on the series I’m watching of course. In parentheses is the latest episode I’ve watched of the series.
Da Capo II (02) – Too many other series to watch, especially ones based on visual novels; I’ve dropped this one for now. None of the characters have gripped me so far, and at least one should have even by episode 2. But I haven’t met Nanaka yet, whom Kurogane seems to like.
BAMBOO BLADE (08) – Tama-chan is adorable. I’m learning small facts about kendo on the side, so that’s always nicely educational. Just a fun sports series without too much seriousness. Tamaki provides the moe (she has really nice posters in the latest Megami and Comp H’s magazines), and Miyako is an interesting yandere.
Myself;Yourself (10) – Most surprising storyline of the fall series, I think. Some are saying they’re trying too hard or it all seems forced, but I’m looking past that and just accepting things as they come. I mean, it’s not like everything is blatantly obvious or cheesy. Everyone just has tragic pasts. –Oh, and twincest. XD
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun (09) – I’ll repeat what Kurogane has said that it’s the “cup noodle” anime of the season. You know it’s low-quality, but you can’t help but appreciate the ‘cheap flavor’ it has. Although I’m intrigued about where they’ll take the succubus plot device. In the meantime we’re just having fun with the fanservice.
CLANNAD (10) – Fuuko’s arc made me cry, and anime is made tons better with a good cry. Kotomi’s arc has just started, and we’re off to the best in humor and later-drama again. I’m lovin’ it.
Shakugan no Shana II (09) – We’re back to some plot with episodes 8 and 9, although I didn’t get too annoyed with the high school drama in the first seven episodes. A lot of my friends were disappointed, though. But hopefully things are getting back to the Shana they remember from season one.
Kimikiss (01) – This is on hold. It looks good so far in the first ep, but again, I’ve too many to watch. Another romance but a smart one, it seems.
Prism Ark (04) – Waiting on a decent sub of ep5, because OSA is a joke. Kind of a standard, medieval setting with magic and all. Based on a video game, so you have all the RPG archetypes. And a decent bit of fanservice, too. The artwork is all colorful so far, so I’m still curiously watching.
Minami-ke (09) – Just pure fun. I wish I was related to them. Haruka captures all our hearts. Kana is a goof with her logic. And Chiaki just wins, always. A slice of life with family love and classroom trials. And a really creepy sweaty guy.
Hayate no Gotoku! (34) – I’ve already seen so many, I might as well keep going. It’s good and bad in places. Or maybe it depends on my mood. There are tons of references, which is where most of the bleeping happens. And you always have Kugimiya Rie to listen to.
ef – a tale of memories (04) – Getting a late start on this, but it’s not too late. Since I’m putting Prism Ark on hold, I’ll fill the void with this. Plus with school on break, I’ll have all this extra time, too. And my friend keeps telling me I should watch this. Chihiro is definitely a unique character so far, and even girls with eyepatches can be moe.
Sky Girls (20) – The series started slow, but it picked up and is great now. It’s more than lolis in mechs. They have character and stories, and the plot in general isn’t so bad. Horie Yui isin this (though as a supporting character), but everyone is attractive, really.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai (22) – Climax is approaching! We’ve gone over 40 episodes with pain and suspense and anticipation (and loving every bit of it, really). Keiichi and company can make it. Also: nanodesu and hauu~.
Sketchbook ~full color’s~ (08) – Truly tranquil slice of life. Kate is hilarious, although I think her accent is a little bit too exaggerated. But I have the soundtrack of this on loop every now and then. Just a sweet and quiet pacing through life and the art club. Good stress-reliever. And cats. The cat side storyline is cute.
Kodomo no Jikan (08) – I’ll look past all the censorship for now; I just want to watch. And I just know the DVD releases will be awesome when all those censors are gone. Again, don’t just assume it’s a loli-fest because of all the bad press concerning the English release of the manga. That really should have never been considered. But even though there are exaggerations in the girls’ sexual knowledge (and Mimi’s proportions, in my opinion), the mangaka (who is female if you didn’t know) gives everyone a lot of depth and a lot of conflict to deal with. And it’s something to think about.
Moyashimon (06) – More educational fun! With cute little bacteria! In the latest episode, we learn about Asia’s top five food poisoning bacteria. They’re so proud of what they do, too. You almost get distracted into wanting to support their cuteness .. but then you remember that they’re actually bad and you spray the disinfectant. Awww. But the regular plot is okay so far; just another school setting.
…Wow that’s a lot… Guess it wasn’t a quick word after all. ^_^;

I can’t believe that I am actually learning something while watching anime (Moyashimon) ^^.
