I realised that Tomoya has that expression for quite a number of times, while writing clannad up. lol
Did he really? I was pretty sure this is the first time he’s made that exact face. He’s had similar expressions up until now, sure, but…
There was another scene where I think you could compare the two. When Tomoya cuts into Kyou’s introduction (“Her hobby is bullying weaklings”), his mouth had that triangle shaped look to it that Konata usually has. Or so I’d like to think. :P
