There’s 42 anime slated to start airing/release in fall ‘07. Is that a record or something?!?
Anyway, seeing as there’s no way I’m gonna be able to follow all of those, I’ll just pick a few that, one way or another, I will someday see:
Looks and sounds a little like Eureka Seven, ne? Cool flying things and a pair of teenagers in love… This one might be good, as long as they don’t ruin it with cliches and harem-ness.
A highly anticipated slice-of-life anime about a girl who likes to sketch. Considering I like to draw as well, this one’s an obvious pick for me. ^_^
3. Shion no Ou
Based on a manga of the same name. Looks suspiciously like Hikaru no Go, but the lead character looks interesting, and I envy people who can play chess. I’ll watch it, if only to try to improve my game. :)
Cheesy title aside, this one reminds me a little bit of sola (which I have yet to finish ;_;) If you can look past its dating sim roots, you’ll probably be in for a treat.
5. Mokke
I’m honestly surprised someone could mix slice-of-life with the supernatural genre like this, but hey, it looks kinda fun. =^_^= Based on a seinen manga.
(Code Geass and D.Gray-man fans take note: the alleged second seasons of those series are not, to my knowledge, scheduled to start in fall ‘07. Perhaps a spring ‘08 premiere will occur?)
