Randomness of the Week: Quit hating on Kaidoku Funou

As a rabid Code Geass fangirl, I am familiar with the second OP, ‘Kaidoku Funou’ by Jinn. I don’t really get, however, why so many fans hate it as a Code Geass OP. The song made it onto the Oricon top 10 chart, so it’s not like the song sucks. So why do anime fans bash this song so much?

I personally think it’s not as good of an OP as ‘Colors’ by FLOW, but it’s certainly not horrible! The lyrics and the edgy chorus fit the series reasonably well.

Dramacon review – Vol. 1-2

Purists, take note: Dramacon is an OEL manga done right. It shines alongside its Japanese counterparts thanks to an intense blend of drama, romance and comedy. Svetlana Chmakova’s first full-length manga didn’t get my attention for a while, but I’m glad I eventually read it.
