While I knew what I was getting into and all, it still was a little gayer then I expected…

Akira offers some sound advice.
While I dropped it last year out of boredom (or maybe because I had been burned out of SynergySP stuff through the first season of Hayate no Gotoku!), Zettai Karen Children is now tons of fun again this summer. With HnG’s second season going down a different (and so much better) path, it’s now been a while since I’ve enjoyed a series with random references, cameos, and just fun humor (and admittedly some cute fanservice).

Shiho is… fearsome.
My favorite’s still Aoi, though.
It’s too bad [Deculture] stopped at episode 14, which is also where I stopped. Eps 15 and 16 were pretty good, and then the story keeps developing, too. I think [Chihiro] is the only available source, and these releases came during what seemed like a controversial time (as far as fansub drama goes) for them. It’s visible in the quality of the subs, but I can’t complain much — I’m glad I get to watch them at all.

Sorry for being late, illness+photobucket refusing to work is fail.

My apologies for being late posting this, I’ve been and still am sick.

The studio Ghibli film, Castle in the Sky.

I honestly really enjoyed and loved this series, and am sad to see it end. Which is odd, because it certainity isn’t the most fantastic/moving show I’ve watched or really spectactular in any way. Now let’s hope no one shoots me for saying that.

Ponyo, a studio Ghibli film which be released in theaters in August 2009, has put out an English trailer. I have to say, it’s very exciting to watch, even if it’s short. The film appears to be cross between the style of Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro and dare I say, Finding Nemo.
It’s hard to say which I find more exciting, the gorgeous ocean scenes that include comb jellies, the intense actions scenes, or the fact that Tina Fey is helping do the redub, as I do quite love Tina Fey.
While I’m guessing the film will be in the little art theaters rather then in a major theaters (although I secretly hope otherwise) and am going to have to wait patiently for our Little Art Theater. Although, in all honesty, I’d be willing to go up to Columbus just to see it. No way am I waiting for it to come out on DVD.
Here’s to the the movie that officially has me more excited then even Up or Transformers.

So onto screenshots of the week as well as brief thoughts on what I watched this week. Warnings for a lot of Alice screenshots.
I’m not obsessed, I swear! I just…need to drop out of school to follow in the ways of the Alice, reflecting in ways to become more like her, changing every icon I have to her, and joining a billion and one rps to rp as her. That’d normal…right?
